The informal 1st Internet Marketing PubConference was, by all accounts, a HUGE success. However, in 2003 Webmasterworld left the format and began to develop their own conference agenda and venue as the much more formal
"Publisher's Conference."
While there is a place for internet marketing conferences of all flavors, such as Danny Sullivan's Search Engine Strategies, there are those who enjoy the free-form networking of the original-style PubConference. To the delight of the ''old core PubCon'ers,'' this tried-and-true format was revived with great success by Mike Mackin and Andy Rodriguez at the Lucky Leprechaun Pub in Orlando, Florida in February, 2004.
