The primary focus of the Bar Conference, which will be
attended by webmasters from around the globe, will be the
role of Search Engines in the marketing and promotion of web
sites.
The conference is arranged for Saturday, the 23rd of Feb
2002, from 1 PM until 9 PM. Attendees will be making their
own arrangements for accommodation and provisions.
These events are not without costs, and non-refundable
fees must be paid by the organizer(s) early on. Also, due to
the incredible success of its sister event, PubConference,
we need to ensure that we keep track of the headcount, as we
feel we will easily reach capacity (230) in Irvine. We will
require reservations for attendance at BarConference, which
is to be confirmed by sending a
non-refundable registration fee of $40. The entire fee
will go to underwrite the event costs including the
facilities, and the 'beverage' tab.
